Job summary

Amazon Leo is seeking an SDE II to design and develop network observability tools for a global telecom service via space and terrestrial networks. You will collaborate with network engineers and scientists to create novel mechanisms that improve end-to-end observability and deliver secure, fault-tolerant software for satellites, ground gateways, and customer terminals.

The role requires 3+ years of software development experience and strong design/architecture skills in distributed systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years in design or architecture for large/ distributed systems.
• 1+ years building multi-threaded or distributed software.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, Math, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver modern, scalable software for satellite networks.
• Collaborate with engineers and scientists to meet requirements.
• Write production-grade cloud-native code using AWS and related tech.
