Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join the Production Engineering team responsible for keeping developer tools running for hundreds of thousands of developers each month.

You will own end-to-end operational health of production services, building observability systems and intelligent tooling to resolve issues autonomously while handling tens of millions of requests weekly. This role spans full-stack areas including telemetry, CI/CD, and security response.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered software applications
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Responsibilities

• Own the operational health of production services end-to-end
• Build real-time observability systems to detect problems before customers notice
• Develop agentic solutions to resolve issues without human intervention
• Work across the full stack including telemetry, CI/CD, security and service lifecycle management
