Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Hawthorne is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join the AI transformation of Customer Supporting activities. The role focuses on owning maintenance, design, development, and delivery of tools and cloud services that support the customer support team and engineers.

Ideal candidates will be curious, creative, goal-oriented, and passionate about software quality, performance, and security.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience.
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Responsibilities

• Design, create, and update functionality for tools, systems, software, and sites that provides AI-automation for Customer Supporting activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve the user experience on platforms used by customers, and increase efficiency and informational flow.
• Engage internal teams (CS, Engineering, QA, Product, Marketing, HR, etc.) and external stakeholders for implementing features.
