Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Software Development Engineer for the AFX Core Experiences team in Seattle. You will design and deliver scalable software and AI-powered agent services that help AWS sellers and partners work more effectively, from design through deployment and on-call support.

You will collaborate with product managers and partner teams to turn ambiguous requirements into robust, maintainable solutions while maintaining high engineering standards and contributing to

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non‑internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non‑internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and operate scalable software and AI-powered agent services that help AWS sellers and partners work more effectively.
• Build and integrate agentic tooling and services on top of Salesforce and internal AWS data sources.
• Write clean, well-tested code, participate actively in code reviews, and uphold high engineering standards.
• Contribute to architectural decisions, help pay down technical debt, and mentor junior engineers.
