Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer for the AWS Field Experience team in the Dallas area.

You will design and build services enabling field teams to manage operations at internet scale, including generative AI workflows and data pipelines. You will lead architecture decisions, deliver end-to-end features in an agile environment, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience.
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems.
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement generative AI workflows that power intelligent automation for field sales operations
• Develop and optimize data pipelines that synchronize account data across systems (Salesforce, AWSentral, Partner Tools) at scale
• Drive technical strategy for signals architecture and entity resolution to improve account data quality and coverage
• Build APIs and services that encode operational best practices and reduce manual toil for the field organization
• Own end-to-end delivery of features from design through deployment, operating in an agile environment with high autonomy
• Mentor junior engineers, conduct design and code reviews, and raise the engineering bar across the team
• Participate in on-call rotations and drive operational excellence through monitoring, alerting, and incident response
