Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Software Development Engineer to own the development, operations, and security of critical services in a classified environment. You will build extensible tooling, automate deployments, and contribute to security architecture for ADC security engineering.

You must be a US citizen with an active TS/SCI clearance. The role emphasizes distributed systems, automation, and secure integration across internal customers and partners.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-availability distributed software with emphasis on security, scalability, and fault tolerance.
• Build and integrate custom APIs and middleware for security system integration.
• Develop automation frameworks for infrastructure as code deployment and configuration management.
• Build monitoring and alerting systems to track health and security of services.
• Implement secure communication and authentication between distributed systems.
