AWS Security is looking for a driven professional to join its US ADC Security Engineering team to support the development of tools and automation for Amazon Dedicated Clouds (ADCs) and Cleared Programs. As a Software Development Engineer (SDE), you'll own the development, operations, and overall health and security of the critical services we support, providing excellent customer service to our partners in a classified environment.
You’ll spend your day building and operating the tools and automation that support ADC Security Engineering. Expect hands-on coding, peer code reviews, and diving into distributed systems to improve security, scalability, and reliability. You’ll develop infrastructure as code, build monitoring and alerting to keep our services healthy, and automate routine operational work so the team stays fast and agile. You’ll also partner directly with internal customers to understand their operational challenges and deliver practical solutions in a classified environment.
The AWS US ADC Security Engineering team builds and provides operational support for the internal tools that Security Engineers rely on across the Amazon Dedicated Cloud space. We work in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment, collaborating with other AWS teams to deliver services for our customers, and we care deeply about security, customer experience, and operational excellence.
