Job summary

Amazon US ADC Security Engineering seeks a Software Development Engineer to own development, operations, and security of critical services in a classified environment. You will build integrations, tooling, and automation for AWS Dedicated Clouds and Cleared Programs, with an emphasis on performance and secure design.

The role requires hands-on coding in Java/C++/C#, experience with infrastructure as code, and strong collaboration with internal customers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• Experience with design/architecture focusing on reliability and scalability.
• Bachelor's degree or CSSLP and programming in Java/C++/C#.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-availability distributed software with emphasis on security, scalability, and fault tolerance.
• Build and integrate APIs and middleware for security system integration.
• Develop automation frameworks for IaC deployment and configuration management.
• Build monitoring and alerting to track health and security of services.
• Ensure secure communication between distributed systems.
