The Title Company in South Dakota is seeking a motivated individual to join our Closing Department, learning from experienced staff how to coordinate real estate transactions from receipt of new orders through closing.

This entry-level role focuses on communicating with buyers, sellers, realtors and lenders, and using industry software to prepare settlement statements and closing documents with accuracy and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Completion of an Associate or Bachelor degree strongly preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Customer service focus and attitude.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between buyers, sellers, realtors and lenders to ensure a seamless closing experience;
• Effectively communicate via phone and email with all parties and other real estate professionals involved in the transaction;
• Utilize industry software to help create settlement statements and other closing documents for review and approval by the parties;
• Request and process mortgage payoffs to remove current liens against property involved in the transactions;
• Review and comply with lender specific closing instructions, including making sure all necessary documents are signed, dated and notarized as part of the closing;
• Receive and disburse all funds associated with the transaction to the appropriate parties;
• Provide excellent service to clients and customers.
