Job summary
Excelity is seeking a Scrum Master for a government-focused project in Herndon, VA. You will work with an engineering team and customer to ensure successful development of high-profile, complex deliverables under a stringent mission.
The role requires TS/SCI w/ CI Poly clearance, strong communication, and proven experience in Agile environments. You will facilitate Scrum ceremonies, maintain backlogs, and collaborate to improve organizational Agile practices across teams.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar field; 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Minimum of 2 years as a Scrum Master on a Scrum team.
- Minimum of 1 year teaching others how to become Agile.
- Certification: CSM/PSM/SSM or equivalent.
- Knowledge of JIRA/Confluence/GitLab/Artifactory.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily stand-ups, sprint and release planning, demos, and reviews.
- Coach the team on Scrum principles and best practices.
- Record and maintain product requirements and backlog.
- Foster collaboration and resolve conflicts within the team.
- Coordinate with other Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches to improve practices.
