Job summary

A&M Technologies, Inc. in Sterling, VA is seeking a Scrum Master with TS/SCI clearance to drive Agile ceremonies, manage sprints, and coach cross-functional teams on Scrum and Kanban.

You will partner with Product Owners, maintain Jira-based metrics, and guide continuous improvement to meet program deadlines. The ideal candidate has 8+ years in project management with 3+ years leading Agile sprints and holds CSM or SAFe certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• 8+ years of project management experience, including 3+ years leading Agile sprints.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and/or SAFe certification.
• Strong expertise in Agile methodologies and frameworks, including Scrum and Kanban.
• Proven ability to coach teams in Agile/Scrum implementation and iterative development.
• Strong knowledge of Agile metrics, backlog tracking, burndown, velocity, tasks, and user stories.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint/iteration planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Manage engineering projects, sprint releases, timelines, requirements, and team execution.
• Guide estimation, planning, prioritization, and delivery to ensure projects remain on track.
• Identify and remove impediments, resolve conflicts and roadblocks, and facilitate effective team collaboration.
• Communicate project status, accomplishments, risks, and performance to leadership, stakeholders, and customers.
• Partner with Product Owners and team leads to manage priorities, scope, and evolving business requirements.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using retrospectives, post-mortems, and root-cause analysis to improve quality, productivity, and delivery velocity.
• Maintain project data and metrics in tools such as JIRA to support planning, execution, and reporting.
• Implement and reinforce Agile principles, processes, and best practices across the team.
• Deliver high-level project readouts and weekly status reports to senior leadership.
