Job summary

Excelity is looking for a Scrum Master in Herndon, Virginia to support a significant Government project. You will lead scrum teams, facilitating meetings and coaching on Agile principles.

The ideal candidate has over 5 years of relevant experience, a bachelor’s degree in computer science, and certifications in Scrum methodologies. Benefits include comprehensive health insurance and a competitive salary package.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience, additional experience may substitute for degree.
• 2+ years of experience as Scrum Master on a team.
• 1+ year teaching Agile methodologies.
• Certification in Scrum (CSM, PSM, SSM, or equivalent).
• Familiarity with Agile methodology and scrum.
• Familiar with SAFe methodology.

Responsibilities

• Leading daily stand-up meetings and sprint planning.
• Facilitating conflict resolution during scrum execution.
• Maintaining product requirements and backlog.
• Encouraging collaborative environment among team members.
• Collaborating with other Scrum Masters to enhance Agile practices.
