Job summary

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Maintain and manage backlogs, work items, dashboards, and sprint artifacts within Azure DevOps or similar tools.
• Create, refine, and maintain user stories, work items, and supporting project documentation.
• Track, analyze, and report Agile delivery metrics including velocity, burndown, blockers, risks, dependencies, and status.
• Document action items, meeting outcomes, decisions, and status updates to ensure transparency and accountability.
• Investigate issues and dependencies proactively before escalation.
• Collaborate with leadership, stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery of deliverables.
• Support risk management activities through identification, tracking, mitigation, and escalation when necessary.
• Coordinate dependencies across multiple teams and facilitate effective communication among stakeholders.
• Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance Agile maturity, team productivity, and delivery outcomes.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and transparency in reporting and project tracking.

Job Description

As a Scrum Master, you will facilitate Agile delivery processes while supporting operational execution, documentation, reporting, backlog management, and cross-functional team coordination. This role requires a proactive and adaptable professional who can drive Agile best practices, foster team collaboration, improve delivery performance, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in a dynamic technology environment.

Key Responsibilities

Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies

• 3-5 years of experience serving as a Scrum Master supporting Agile development teams.
• Strong understanding of Agile principles, Scrum framework, and iterative software delivery methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps or similar Agile project management platforms.
• Experience managing product backlogs, sprint planning activities, and Agile work tracking processes.
• Proven ability to monitor, analyze, and communicate Agile delivery metrics and team performance indicators.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate and resolve issues efficiently.
• Excellent written, verbal, facilitation, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate effectively across technical, business, and operational teams.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification required.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Experience working in large enterprise or public-sector environments preferred.
• Familiarity with Agile transformation initiatives, Agile maturity programs, and continuous process improvement efforts.
• Demonstrated ability to contribute to risk mitigation, dependency management, and successful project delivery outcomes.

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $60.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
