Frantz Building Services Inc in Franklin, KY is hiring a Scrubber Driver for 1st shift. You will operate floor scrubbers, clean floors, and perform janitorial duties throughout the facility. The role requires attention to detail, independence, and strong safety practices.

The position supports a Monday–Friday schedule with 8:00/8:30 start times and a Friday pay schedule. Physical ability to lift, stand for long periods, and wear PPE is needed, with steel-toed boots required.

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial or floor care experience preferred but not required.
• Experience operating ride-on floor scrubbers is preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Reliable transportation and attendance.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have valid driver's license and clear driving record.
• Steel toed boots or shoes required.

Responsibilities

• Operate ride-on and walk-behind floor scrubbers safely and efficiently.
• Clean and maintain hard surface floors according to company standards.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust assigned areas.
• Empty trash and replace liners.
• Clean restrooms, breakrooms, offices, and common areas.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Refill cleaning supplies and chemicals as needed.
• Follow safety procedures when operating equipment and handling chemicals.
• Respond promptly to spills and other cleaning emergencies.
• Maintain accurate cleaning logs and equipment checklists when required.
• Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned.

SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

PAY SCHEDULE: Weekly - Every Friday

Position Summary:
The Scrubber Driver is responsible for operating floor scrubbers and other cleaning equipment to maintain clean, safe, and professional-looking floors throughout the facility. This position also performs general janitorial duties, including sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and maintaining common areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Operate ride-on and walk-behind floor scrubbers safely and efficiently.


• Clean and maintain hard surface floors according to company standards.


• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust assigned areas.


• Empty trash and replace liners.


• Clean restrooms, breakrooms, offices, and common areas.


• Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance needs.

• Frequent bending, lifting, twisting, and reaching.


• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.


• Ability to push, pull, and maneuver cleaning equipment.


• Must be able to work around cleaning chemicals and industrial equipment.


• Manufacturing, warehouse, industrial, or commercial facilities.


• Exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, and cleaning chemicals.


• Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of floor care procedures and equipment.


• Ability to identify floor maintenance needs.


• Basic mechanical aptitude for equipment troubleshooting.


• Strong safety awareness and teamwork skills.
