Job summary

United Surgical Partners International is seeking a Scrub Technician to support the surgical team in the operating room. You will anticipate needs, maintain sterile fields, and assist during procedures under the supervision of the Clinical Director.

Responsibilities include preparing supplies, gowning gloves, counting instruments, maintaining sterile technique, and communicating effectively with the surgical team. High school diploma and BLS are required; Colorado Surgical Registry is needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification required.
• State of Colorado Surgical Registry must be current.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently and effectively assists physician with operative procedures.
• Anticipates surgeon’s needs before and during procedures.
• Maintains sterile field and proper instrument handling.
• Gowns and gloved surgeons and assistants.
• Counts sponges, needles, and instruments pre- and intra-operatively.
• Transports equipment and assists in sterile processing and setup.
