Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Scrub Tech program completion.
• 1–2 years of Scrub Tech experience in OR settings.
• BLS certification and surgical technologist credentials required.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeon with operative procedures and anticipate needs.
• Maintain sterile field and prepare supplies and instruments.
• Count sponges, needles, and instruments pre- and intra-operatively.
• Gown and glove surgeons and assistants; support sterile environment.
• Ensure patient safety and HIPAA compliance throughout procedures.
