Description

Scribe duties include accompanying provider into exam rooms for patient visits and documenting clinical notes, test orders, prescription orders/refills, procedures, billing information, and any other documentation as directed by the provider. Responsible for assisting providers with patient care by controlling patient flow, obtaining and documenting history and vital signs, processing referrals, and providing patient education.

We are seeking a compassionate and friendly individual who enjoys creating a welcoming environment for our patients.

Core Duties
  • Monitor patient flow from arrival through rooming patients and checking vitals
  • Assist providers with procedures such as lab swabs and vaccinations
  • Perform routine laboratory work
  • Prepare exam rooms for the next patient
  • Call patients with routine lab results
  • Complete lab requisitions and prepare specimens
  • Review laboratory reports in charts
  • Perform additional administrative duties related to patient care
Skills
  • Prior scribing experience and keyboarding skills are beneficial
  • Empathy, tact, diplomacy, and compassion
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to relate to children
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Punctuality
Hours
  • Full-time, Monday through Friday, 7:45 am - 5:15 pm
  • One Saturday morning every 4-6 weeks, 7:40 am - 12:00 pm (after training)

Requirements
