Metalico- is seeking a reliable Office Admin / Scale Operator in Pittsburgh to monitor and record inbound scrap volumes on the scale, input data into ERP, and prepare outbound documents. The role supports customer interaction, dispatch coordination, and vehicle movement between locations.

The position involves both indoor and outdoor work, with responsibilities including pricing lookups over the phone, addressing inquiries, and ensuring timely shipments while upholding safety and environmental

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• General knowledge of using an ERP system is preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Operate truck scales to weigh inbound and outbound vehicles with accurate documentation.
• Use ERP system to complete daily tasks and data entry.
• Create documents for outbound shipments and log dispatch data.
• Collect inspection ticket information and input data.
• Answer calls and emails, coordinate with yard staff and customers to ensure smooth dispatch.
