EMR Group is seeking a Scale Operator/Weighmaster to accurately weigh, grade, and record incoming and outgoing scrap metal materials in a fast-paced outdoor environment. You will greet customers, verify materials, and ensure accurate ticketing and records.

The role requires attention to detail, good communication, and the ability to multitask while following safety procedures. Weekend availability and basic computer skills are needed.

Qualifications

• 1 year of customer service experience.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with material verification, sorting, and disposal procedures.
• Weigh and ticket incoming/outgoing loads using scale systems and software.
• Create accurate and compliant transaction records.
• Grade incoming scrap materials and monitor load quality.
• Direct vehicle and foot traffic safely on and off the scale.
• Process inspection tickets and assist with inventory control.
• Maintain and monitor radiation detection systems.
• Communicate with yard staff regarding incoming and outgoing materials.
• Report discrepancies or quality concerns to management.
• Follow site safety procedures and industry regulations.
