EMR USA Metal Recycling in New Castle, DE, is seeking a Scale Operator/Weighmaster to accurately weigh, grade, and record incoming and outgoing scrap metal. The role suits someone detail-oriented, customer-focused, and comfortable working outdoors in a fast-paced environment.

You will greet customers, verify materials, weigh and ticket loads, create compliant transaction records, and help with inventory control while following site safety and regulatory procedures.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and verify materials.
• Weigh and ticket loads using scale systems.

• Grade incoming scrap materials and monitor load quality.
• Direct vehicle and foot traffic safely on and off the scale.
• Process inspection tickets and assist with inventory control.
• Maintain and monitor radiation detection systems.
• Communicate with yard staff regarding materials.
• Report discrepancies to management.
• Follow site safety procedures and regulations.
