Job summary

Radius Recycling, Inc. is seeking an Inside Buyer to manage marketing, advertising and purchase of ferrous and nonferrous scrap within a defined region, reporting to the Regional Account Manager.

The role includes evaluating material quality, coordinating with scale personnel, negotiating prices, developing new supplier relationships, and supporting bid processes to maximize profitability while maintaining safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business is preferred, but not required.
• 0–2 years of industry sales experience.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive an automobile.
• Strong customer service, negotiation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Marketing, advertising and purchasing of ferrous and nonferrous scrap within a defined geographic area.
• Review material quality, coordinate with scale personnel and communicate results to buyers.
• Develop new supplier relationships and support bid processes to maximize profitability.
• Ensure safety, environmental and regulatory compliance in all activities.
• Travel regionally as required and maintain timely documentation of transactions.
