Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business is preferred, but not required, in addition to 0-2 years industry sales experience.
• Requires valid driver’s license and ability to drive.
• Superior customer service skills and professional communication.
• Strong negotiation and numerical skills; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Market, advertise and purchase scrap metals for the peddler and retail book within defined geographic area.
• Coordinate with the receiving facility, Outside Buyers and management on material flow.
• Review inspections and grading of purchased material and report quality.
• Cold call new suppliers and follow up to develop business.
• Ensure pricing reflects current market conditions and processing costs.
