Job summary

Radius Recycling seeks an Outside Buyer to generate scrap metal purchases and grow the supplier base across assigned regions. You will visit current and potential suppliers, negotiate prices, and build long-term contracts to maximize volume and margin.

The role requires external sales or account management experience, knowledge of ferrous/non-ferrous scrap, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams to optimize profitability. Travel to supplier sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; 1–4 years sales or non-procurement buying experience is a plus.
• Experience in scrap metal industry preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Regional travel may be required and expected.

• Develop and maintain supplier relationships and negotiate prices.
