Job summary

Commonwealth of Pennsylvania seeks a County Intellectual Disabilities Specialist 2 to lead the Supports Coordination Organization, guiding staff and improving services for individuals with intellectual disabilities.

You will coordinate providers, monitor quality, and maintain records while collaborating with agencies to advance shared initiatives. This is a full-time, on-site role with eligibility-based benefits and potential loan forgiveness.

Qualifications

• One year as a County Intellectual Disabilities Program Specialist 1; or
• Three years of professional experience in the field of intellectual disabilities, and a bachelors degree; or
• An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Responsibilities

• Guide daily activities of the Supports Coordination Organization and ensure functions operate smoothly.
• Supervise assigned staff and support their development and performance.
• Assist providers by addressing concerns, reviewing performance, and supporting corrective action plans.
• Conduct monitoring activities, analyze findings, and act on results to improve program operations.
• Maintain organized records in both paper charts and electronic systems.
• Collaborate with administrators, teams, and agencies to support shared initiatives and resolve issues.
