The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking an Intellectual Disabilities Program Director for Washington County. This full-time role directs planning, coordination, and oversight of ID/Autism services, ensuring compliance with policies and delivering positive community outcomes. The position requires supervisory experience and a relevant degree.

Qualifications

• Minimum experience and training requirements include 1 year as a County Intellectual Disabilities Program Specialist 2; or 5 years in the field with 3 years in admin/management and a bachelor’s degree; or an equivalent combination.
• Residency requirement for PA; must pass background checks; medical and drug screening.
• Veterans’ preference and TRS accommodations apply.

Responsibilities

• Direct planning, coordination, and oversight of ID/Autism services in Washington County.
• Ensure programs meet federal, state, and county requirements.
• Study community needs to guide program goals and resource allocation.
• Review data to support existing services and new program development.
• Assess impact of proposed legislation on Developmental Services planning.
• Develop and implement the annual County QM Plan.
