Job summary

CBRE Full Spectrum Lab Services provides end to end scientific support across life sciences, manufacturing, and other industries. As a CBRE LIS Coordinator, you will support repair, maintenance, and calibration of laboratory instrumentation in critical client environments.

You will work with staff to schedule services, verify GxP certificate records, prepare equipment, and ensure instruments are ready for staff scientists.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate installation, maintenance, moves, and relocations with staff.
  • Review GxP pipette certificates/tests records from third-party providers.
  • Perform daily equipment preparation and setup.
  • Ensure equipment is available for staff scientists.
  • Replenish solvents used with laboratory equipment.
  • Gather documentation for inspections and audits.
  • Provide training support and backup for certificate reviews.
  • Follow standardized procedures with moderate supervision.
  • Deliver outputs by following defined processes.

CBRE Full Spectrum Lab Services provides end to end scientific support for clients across life sciences, manufacturing, and other industries. We partner with pharmaceutical and biotech companies, healthcare, food and beverage producers, automotive and tooling innovators, and both contract research organizations (CROs) and contract manufacturing organizations (CMOs) to keep their operations running at peak performance.

About The Role

As a CBRE LIS Coordinator, you will provide support services to facilitate the repair, maintenance, and calibration of laboratory instrumentation.

This job is part of the Critical and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for technical maintenance services in critical client environments.

What You’ll Do
  • Work with staff about services required for installation, maintenance, moves, and relocations.
  • Ensure customer requirements are met based on review of GxP pipette or similar instrument certificates/tests records provided by third-party service provider(s).
  • Perform daily equipment preparation and setup.
  • Make sure sure that equipment is available for staff scientist.
  • Replenish solvents used with laboratory equipment, as needed.
  • Gather documentation for inspection and audit purposes.
  • Provide training support and backup to department personnel for the review of GxP pipette or similar certificates and test reports.
  • Follow standardized procedures and practices and receive regular but moderate supervision and guidance.
  • Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
  • Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.
  • Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
What You’ll Need
  • High School Diploma or GED with up to 2 years of job-related experience.
  • Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
  • Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
  • Basic math skills. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Sr. Laboratory Coordinator is $65,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Sr. Laboratory Coordinator position is $81,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
