Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. in Massachusetts seeks a CBRE LIS Coordinator to support repair, maintenance, and calibration of laboratory instrumentation for clients in life sciences and related industries.

Joining the Critical and Technical Services function, you will handle installation, moves, and documentation, working with staff scientists to ensure instruments are ready and compliant, under defined procedures and moderate supervision.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED plus up to 2 years of related experience.
  • Ability to follow basic work routines and standards.
  • Excellent communication to exchange straightforward information.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
  • Basic math skills including calculating percentages, discounts, and markups.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate installation, maintenance, moves, and relocations for laboratory services.
  • Ensure customer requirements are met based on review of GxP pipette or similar certificates/tests records from third-party providers.
  • Perform daily equipment preparation and setup.
  • Ensure equipment is available for staff scientists.
  • Replenish solvents used with laboratory equipment as needed.
  • Gather documentation for inspection and audit purposes.
  • Provide training support and backup for review of GxP certificates and test reports.
  • Follow standardized procedures with regular, moderate supervision and guidance.
  • Apply existing procedures to solve straightforward problems with limited discretion.
  • Deliver output by following defined procedures under close supervision.

CBRE Full Spectrum Lab Services provides end to end scientific support for clients across life sciences, manufacturing, and other industries. We partner with pharmaceutical and biotech companies, healthcare, food and beverage producers, automotive and tooling innovators, and both contract research organizations (CROs) and contract manufacturing organizations (CMOs) to keep their operations running at peak performance.

About the Role:

As a CBRE LIS Coordinator, you will provide support services to facilitate the repair, maintenance, and calibration of laboratory instrumentation.

This job is part of the Critical and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for technical maintenance services in critical client environments.

What You’ll Do:
  • Work with staff about services required for installation, maintenance, moves, and relocations.
  • Ensure customer requirements are met based on review of GxP pipette or similar instrument certificates/tests records provided by third-party service provider(s).
  • Perform daily equipment preparation and setup.
  • Make sure sure that equipment is available for staff scientist.
  • Replenish solvents used with laboratory equipment, as needed.
  • Gather documentation for inspection and audit purposes.
  • Provide training support and backup to department personnel for the review of GxP pipette or similar certificates and test reports.
  • Follow standardized procedures and practices and receive regular but moderate supervision and guidance.

  • Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.
  • Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
What You’ll Need:
  • High School Diploma or GED with up to 2 years of job-related experience.
