Acceleration Academies is recruiting a ScienceContent Coach (Science Teacher) in Florida to deliver competency-based science instruction and support personalized learning. You’ll work with a collaborative team to guide students toward graduation and postsecondary success, providing academic, social-emotional, and career-focused support in a high-engagement setting.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• Florida 6-12 secondary certification in Biology/Earth Space required.
• 2+ years of high school teaching experience.
• Strong communication, planning, and collaboration skills.

Mansioni

• Support new student enrollment through outreach and engagement efforts.
• Develop individualized learning plans tailored to each student’s goals, progress, and needs.
• Serve as a primary advisor for assigned students, maintaining communication with families and staff.
• Plan and deliver subject-area instruction in one-on-one and small group settings.
• Track student progress toward course completion and mastery using assessments and data.
• Provide targeted remediation and enrichment to address learning gaps.
• Participate in professional development and school/community events.
• Partner with internal teams to design personalized learning pathways and transition plans.
• Represent the academy at community events and contribute to school initiatives.
• Perform other duties to support student success and the academy’s mission.
