Acceleration Academies in Florida is seeking a Math Content Coach to guide Graduation Candidates toward diploma completion through competency-based instruction and personalized learning.

You will support enrollment efforts, develop personalized learning plans, monitor progress, and deliver instruction in small groups. The role emphasizes serving at‑risk youth and collaborating with a dedicated team to ensure student success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• Florida 6-12 secondary certification in Mathematics is required.
• 2+ years of teaching experience (high school preferred).
• Strong communication, time management, instructional planning, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Support new GC enrollment through recruitment and engagement efforts.
• Assist with the development of Personalized Learning Plans for GCs.
• Monitor attendance, academic progress, and overall wellness to ensure consistent engagement and achievement.
• Plan and deliver content-area instruction in both individual and small group settings.
• Monitor GC academic progress toward course completion and mastery using formative and summative assessments.
• Analyze and use academic data to inform instruction and improve outcomes.
• Provide remediation and enrichment opportunities to address learning gaps and accelerate success.
• Participate in professional development, data meetings, and school/community events.
• Collaborate with the GC support team to develop personalized learning pathways, transition strategies, and incentive plans.
• Represent the academy in community events and contribute to academy-wide initiatives.
• Perform other responsibilities as needed to support the academy’s mission.
