Acceleration Academies seeks a Science Content Coach to serve as the primary instructional resource for Graduation Candidates, delivering competency-based science content and guiding students toward graduation.

The role blends onsite work at the Odessa, TX campus with remote options, requiring a Texas 7‑12 science certification and 2+ years of high school teaching experience. You will support enrollment, retention, and academics while fostering student wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or related field required; Master’s preferred.
• Texas 7‑12 secondary certification in Science/Life Science or Physical Science required.
• 2+ years of high school teaching experience.
• Strong communication, time management, instructional planning, and collaboration skills.
• Bilingual Spanish skills preferred for some roles.

Responsibilities

• Support Enrollment through recruitment and engagement of Graduation Candidates (GCs).
• Advise GCs, monitor attendance and progress, and coordinate with support teams.
• Plan and deliver content-area instruction in small groups and individuals.
• Analyze data to inform instruction and address learning gaps; provide remediation and enrichment.
• Participate in professional development and school/community events.
