Job summary

Rohrer Bus, based in Duncannon, PA, seeks a School Van Driver to transport students safely and professionally to and from school. You will follow routes, perform vehicle safety checks, and manage passenger safety and behavior in coordination with district policy.

The role requires a valid license with 3 years of driving history, a clean background, and ability to pass drug screening. Experience with Samsara and Dayforce is preferred. Competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with at least 3 years of driving history.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Pass a comprehensive background check and pre-employment drug screening.
• Familiarity with fleet software such as Samsara and Dayforce.

Responsibilities

• Transport students safely and courteously on approved routes.
• Follow routes and schedules to pick up/drop off students at stops.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle safety inspections.
• Maintain a safe, orderly environment inside the vehicle and enforce safety rules.
• Assist students with boarding/alighting and secure mobility devices.
• Report delays, defects, or incidents to dispatch/management immediately.
• Attend safety and training meetings and drills as required.
