Job summary

Rohrer Bus, based in Duncannon, PA, is seeking a School Van Driver to safely and professionally transport students to and from school. You will follow assigned routes, perform pre/post-trip safety checks, and ensure a courteous, orderly vehicle environment.

Requirements include a valid license with a clean driving history, age 21 or older, and the ability to pass background and drug screening. Familiarity with Samsara and Dayforce is a plus, with benefits including vision insurance and a 401(k)

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must be 21 or older.
• Background check and pre-employment drug screening required.
• Ability to pass medical and drug screening.
• Familiarity with fleet tech systems preferred (Samsara, Dayforce).

Responsibilities

• Transport students safely and courteously according to laws and policies.
• Follow routes and schedules for pick-up/drop-off.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip safety checks of the vehicle.
• Maintain a safe, orderly environment inside the vehicle.
• Assist students boarding and exiting, including mobility devices as required.
• Report delays, mechanical issues, or incidents to dispatch/management.
• Attend safety/training meetings and conduct drills as required.
