Job summary

Beacon Mobility is seeking part-time drivers for Van Pool Transportation LLC to transport students to and from school and events. You may assist students with entry/exit and safety equipment; you will drive assigned routes and conduct inspections. Paid training at $20/hour, with on-route pay at $24.40/hour (effective 8/24/26).

Qualifications

• Must have a safe driving record and be 21 years or older.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (spoken and written).
• Minimum 3 years of driving experience and the ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and events.
• May assist students to enter/exit vehicles and use safety equipment.
• Drive assigned routes and perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain a clean and safe vehicle and communicate professionally with families and staff.
• Follow all state/local traffic laws and school district policies.

WhatYou’llDo

• Safely transport students to and from school and events
• May include assisting studentsenter/exit vehicle and using specialized safety equipment (belts, car seats, booster seats,etc)
• Drive assigned routes
• Performpretripandposttripinspections
• Maintain a clean, safe vehicle
• Communicate professionally with students, families, and school staff
• Follow all state/local traffic laws and school district policies

Requirements

• School Pupil Transport (7D) Certificate (or willingness to obtain — we train!)
• Safe driving record
• Age 21+ with at least 3 years of driving experience
• Ability to pass backgroundcheck,drug screening, & 7D physical
• Effectively communicate in English (spoken & written)
