Job summary

Beacon Mobility is seeking a part-time School Van Driver to transport students for the Marlborough School District. The role offers paid training at $20/hour, with regular pay at $24/hour and opportunities for extra hours on charters and trips.

Expect a part-time schedule with split AM/PM shifts, weekdays only, and guaranteed minimum hours. Must have 7D certificate or willingness to obtain; 21+ with 3 years of driving experience; pass background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• School Pupil Transport (7D) Certificate (or willingness to obtain — we train!)
• Safe driving record
• Age 21+ with at least 3 years of driving experience
• Ability to pass backgroundcheck,drug screening, & 7D physical
• Effectively communicate in English (spoken & written)

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and events
• May include assisting studentsenter/exit vehicle and using specialized safety equipment (belts, car seats, booster seats,etc)
• Drive assigned routes
• Performpre tripandpost tripinspections
• Maintain a clean, safe vehicle
• Communicate professionally with students, families, and school staff
• Follow all state/local traffic laws and school district policies

Pay & Schedule

• Pay:$24.00/hour(Effective 8/24/26)
• Paid Training:$20/hour
• Schedule:Parttime, split shift (AM/PM)
