Job summary

NRT Bus, Inc. is seeking a School Van Driver for a part-time role in Dracut, MA. You will drive routes to transport students to and from school and events, with paid training and opportunities for additional hours as needed.

This position offers weekday shifts with guaranteed hours, and part-time benefits. Training is provided for those willing to obtain the 7D certificate. Applicants must have a clean driving record, be at least 21 years old with 3+ years of driving experience, and pass

Qualifications

• Must have a valid School Pupil Transport (7D) Certificate or willingness to obtain (training provided).
• Safe driving record.
• Age 21+ with at least 3 years of driving experience.
• Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and 7D physical.
• Effective communication in English (spoken & written).

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and events.
• Drive assigned routes.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain a clean, safe vehicle.
• Communicate professionally with students, families, and school staff.
• Follow all state/local traffic laws and school district policies.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $23.70/hour
  • Paid Training: $20/hour
• Schedule: Part‑time, split shift (AM/PM)
• Weekdays only — no nights, weekends, or holidays
• Weekly pay + guaranteed minimum hours

What You’ll Do

• Safely transport students to and from school and events
  • May include assisting students enter/exit vehicle and using specialized safety equipment (belts, car seats, booster seats, etc)
• Drive assigned routes
• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections
• Maintain a clean, safe vehicle
• Communicate professionally with students, families, and school staff
• Follow all state/local traffic laws and school district policies
