Butler's Bus Service in Lyndonville, VT is seeking a Part-Time School Bus Driver to transport students to and from school and events on local routes.

Earn $5,000 sign-on bonus (effective March 6, 2026) plus paid CDL training. Schedule is split AM/PM, weekdays only, with guaranteed hours and weekly pay. Full benefits for part-time roles and opportunities for extra hours available.

Qualifications

• CDL Class B (or higher) with P & S endorsements (or willingness to obtain - we train!)
• Valid DOT medical card—or able to obtain one
• Safe driving record
• Age 21+ with at least 3 years of driving experience
• Ability to pass background check & drug screening
• Effectively communicate in English (spoken & written)

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and events
• Drive assigned local routes
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain a clean, safe vehicle
• Communicate professionally with students, families, and school staff
• Follow all state/local traffic laws and school district policies

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $20/hour
• Schedule: Part‑time, split shift (AM/PM)
• Weekdays only - no nights, weekends, or holidays
• Weekly pay + guaranteed minimum hours
