Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; Some college preferred.
• 5+ years’ work experience in ground transportation; 3 years in supervisory role preferred.
• College education can substitute for up to 2 years of required experience.
• CDL with appropriate endorsements required; Bi-lingual abilities a plus.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and presentation skills; ability to supervise/train a driver workforce.
• Proficient in MS Office and transportation-related software.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership for student transportation services, driver training, and vehicle maintenance.
• Lead staff; promote safety, efficiency, and effectiveness; monitor training requirements.
• Ensure compliance with policies and escalate violations as needed.
• Attend meetings with school district representatives and represent the company professionally.
• Monitor time sheets and ensure budget adherence; manage vehicle utilization.
