Job summary

Summit School Services is seeking a dispatcher/operations professional to manage daily driver assignments, route coverage, and communications between drivers and management. You will coordinate routing details, assist with special services, and ensure on-time, safe operations across routes and field trips.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of surrounding geographic area to plan efficient routes.
• Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers under pressure.
• Ability to read and interpret maps and routing information.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Directs and monitors daily driver assignments and route coverage.
• Communicates routing details to drivers for proper execution.
• Assists drivers with routing directions and special services as needed.
• Notifies management of route changes, emergencies or service disruptions.
• Maintains route documentation and records for accuracy and district/state requirements.
• Coordinates vehicle service and repairs to ensure uninterrupted service delivery.
