Job summary

Danbury Public Schools in the United States is seeking a site-based technology support specialist to assist staff and students with set up, configuration, and basic troubleshooting of computers and peripherals in a school setting.

The role includes acting as a liaison for District-wide Gmail and Google Classroom integration, helping staff adopt new educational apps, and supporting the District's technology needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of demonstrated experience with school tech devices.
• Preferred certifications in Apple, Microsoft Office, Google, or PowerSchool.

Responsibilities

• Set up and personalize new computers or devices in the school.
• Assist staff and students with use of computers and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot and route complex issues to centralized IT as needed.
• Serve as liaison for District-wide Gmail, Google Classroom, and similar platforms.
• Support adoption of new/modified classroom applications district-wide.
