Job summary

International Rescue Committee (IRC) in Atlanta is seeking a School Success Caseworker to connect refugee youth and families with schools and community resources. You will engage with families, coordinate services, and support students’ academic and long-term goals.

The role emphasizes afterschool programming, education case management, and strong collaboration with school districts. A bachelor’s degree in education or related field is preferred, with multilingual capabilities a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, social work or related field preferred.
• Minimum two years' experience working with students and families in education or social services.
• Experience with refugee and/or immigrant populations and multilingual learners is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implement afterschool and summer program activities.
• Provide tutoring, mentoring, and social-emotional learning support.
• Coordinate family outreach and school enrollment activities.
• Track data and complete reporting for funders and internal monitoring.
• Support enrollment of school-aged IRC-resettled youth in local schools.
