Soliant Health is seeking a contract-based Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in Rockville, Maryland. The role offers a consistent 35-hour work week and collaboration with educators, families, and students.

Priority will be given to candidates with ASHA CCC; strong CFs are encouraged to apply, with prior school experience a plus. On-site work and a supportive educational environment are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders.
• Active or eligible state licensure for speech-language pathology.
• ASHA CCC’s preferred, but not required; Clinical Fellows welcome.
• Previous experience in school settings is a plus.
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students of varying ages.
• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to student needs.
• Deliver targeted speech and language therapy interventions in both individual and group settings.
• Monitor progress, maintain accurate records, and regularly report on student outcomes.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school staff and families to provide holistic support.
• Educate teachers and families on strategies to support students’ speech and language development within classroom and home environments.
