Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to support middle and high school students in a Maryland school setting. The role involves delivering therapy to a caseload of 25-30 students with moderate disabilities, assessing needs, and developing IEP-driven plans in collaboration with teachers and families.

Qualified candidates hold a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, Maryland SLP licensure, and CCC (SLP-CCC).

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current Maryland SLP licensure required.
• CCC certification (SLP-CCC) required.
• Experience with school-aged populations, especially middle/high school.
• Familiarity with IEP processes, goal development, and progress monitoring.
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to middle and high school students with moderate disabilities.
• Assess students' needs, develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families.
• Monitor and document student progress toward communication goals.
• Provide guidance and resources to faculty and parents to foster student development.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations for school-based SLP services.

Job description

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Experience with school-aged populations, particularly middle and high school students, preferred
• Familiarity with IEP processes, goal development, and progress monitoring
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
