Job description

As a Speech‑Language Pathologist working on a contract basis, you’ll collaborate with committed educators to make a meaningful impact on children’s communication and academic success. While this position is currently part of a developing pipeline, it offers a promising path for those eager to contribute their expertise once final contracting approval is in place, expected by 7/31.

Qualifications and Experience

• Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech‑Language Pathology (CCC‑SLP)
• Eligibility for SLP state licensure
• Recent experience in school-based speech therapy settings
• Skill in developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Flexibility to adapt as the district finalizes its staffing decision

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, and communication needs
• Develop targeted, measurable intervention plans in coordination with educators and families
• Provide direct and consultative SLP services to a culturally diverse student population
• Monitor progress and maintain detailed documentation for compliance
• Collaborate regularly with school staff, fostering a supportive environment for student growth
• Participate in IEP meetings and student support activities as needed
