Job summary

The role supports students through individual, group, and push-in services aligned with IEPs and BIPs, working as part of a multidisciplinary team. The position requires relevant licensure (LPC/LCPC, LCSW/LMSW, LMFT/LMHC) and a Master’s degree in social work or related field, with 2+ years of school-based experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Professional licensure in social work or counseling (LPC/LCPC, LCSW/LMSW, LMFT/LMHC).
• Master’s degree in social work, human services, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with children and adolescents in school, special education, or behavior health settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, or push-in counseling services to students per IEP or BIP.
• Collaborate on IEPs, including social-emotional goals and meetings.
• Complete assessments and develop behavior plans such as BIPs and transition plans.
• Implement behavior management, de-escalation, crisis response, and safety procedures.
• Support SEL skill development with targeted curricula and assessments.
• Provide in-service training with teams including expressive therapy and clinical staff.
• Coordinate with external partners to support students, families, and staff.
• Maintain student documents per regulatory requirements.
