Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) seeks a licensed school-based social worker/therapist to provide individual and group counseling for students with IEPs, BIPs, and SEL needs.

You will collaborate with school teams and families, complete assessments, participate in IEP meetings, and support behavior and emotional regulation through evidence-based strategies in diverse classrooms. Qualifications

• Master's degree required in social work, human services, or related field.
• 2 years of experience with children/adolescents in a school, special education, or behavior health setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with a diverse group of students from varying backgrounds.
• Provide individual, group, or push-in counseling to students per IEP/BIP.
• Collaborate on creating IEPs, including social-emotional goal setting.
• Complete social-emotional and behavior assessments and develop BIPs and transition plans.
• Implement behavior management and de-escalation strategies, including crisis management.
• Support social-emotional learning through targeted curricula and assessments.
• Provide in-service training with other teams, including families and external partners.
• Maintain student files and regulatory documentation.
