Job summary

Soliant is hiring for two in-person School Social Worker positions near Rochester, NY. These full-time contracts run through the school year with an August-end finalization of hours and caseload, beginning September 8, 2026.

You will collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student wellness and success. You will provide social work services, assessments, and intervention planning, while advocating for inclusive education and crisis support as needed.

Qualifications

• NY SSW certification is required
• Active LMSW or LCSW license
• Experience in school-based social work or clinical environments is preferred
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and advocacy abilities
• Commitment to supporting a diverse student population through evidence-based practices
• Flexibility to adapt as caseload and hours will be finalized

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect social work services to students and families
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized intervention plans
• Partner with teachers, administrators, and allied professionals to monitor progress
• Support crisis intervention, behavioral management, and counseling
• Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment
• Act as a liaison between home, school, and community resources
