Qualifications

• Current School Social Worker (SSW) 310 approval and active state licensure.
• Experience working as a social worker in educational settings preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families.
• Compassion, cultural competence, and dedication to student success.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive social work services to students, including assessment, crisis intervention, and counseling.
• Help identify and address barriers to academic achievement.
• Connect students and families with community resources as needed.
• Participate in IEP and MTSS meetings.
• Advocate for student needs and help develop strategies to promote social-emotional growth.
• Deliver professional guidance to school staff regarding mental health, behavior, and family dynamics.
