Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated Social Worker for the upcoming 26/27 school year. This full-time role runs 37.5 hours weekly from ASAP through May 28, 2027, providing direct support to students with families, teachers, and community partners.

You’ll help implement IEP/504 plans and advocate for student well-being in a vibrant school setting. You’ll collaborate on mental health initiatives, crisis response, and coordination of services to ensure inclusive, supportive environments for all

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work (BSW or MSW) from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure or ability to obtain necessary credentials for school-based social work.
• Previous experience or strong knowledge in school social work settings preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interactions with students, families, and staff.
• Compassionate approach with the ability to respond effectively in crisis situations.
• Cultural competence and commitment to equity in educational settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct social, emotional, and behavioral support to students across grade levels.
• Conduct assessments and implement intervention strategies to address individual student needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to create and support IEP and 504 teams.
• Liaise between school, families, and community agencies to coordinate services and referrals.
• Deliver small group and individual counseling sessions.
• Advocate for students’ well-being and positive school engagement.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of school-wide initiatives for mental health and behavioral support.
