Job summary

You will collaborate with staff, families, and other providers to ensure students receive social, emotional, and behavioral support. The district offers caseload flexibility and a focus on trauma-informed practices.

Qualifications

• Active Michigan social work license required.
• Experience in school social work or educational settings.
• Strong communication and collaboration with students, families, and colleagues.
• Ability to develop, implement, and monitor evidence-based interventions.
• Deep understanding of school systems, child development, and trauma-informed practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct social work services to students, including individual and group support.
• Conduct assessments to address social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families on intervention strategies.
• Support the development and execution of IEPs and 504 plans as needed.
• Coordinate with community resources and agencies for student support.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with district and state guidelines.
