Job summary

Colorado Springs School District 11 is seeking a School Social Worker to provide social-emotional support within the Diagnostic Center. The position focuses on IEP service planning, coordination with families, and linking child-serving agencies to the school to promote student success.

The role involves collaborating with the Principal and Special Education Executive Director, delivering FBA/BIP services, and contributing to PBS implementation and progress data monitoring.

• Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents and staff.
• Strong organization and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Delivers Special Education Services including Functional Behavior Assessments and IEP participation.
• Counsels and counsels students individually and in groups to support social-emotional growth.
• Coordinates school, home and community services using RtI and PBIS.
• Collaborates with administrators, teachers and parents to implement behavior supports.
